I graduated from the University of London with a BH (Hons) in English and Classical Studies, and started my career working in a variety of roles in the public affairs and media relations arena.
My introduction to investor relations came when I joined the IR department of Saatchi & Saatchi just as the company was going through major management and structural changes. This resulted in the removal of Maurice Saatchi from the company as a direct result of a US activist shareholder, in what was perhaps one of the most public boardroom oustings in the UK. I have also worked in investor relations roles at Cordiant and National Grid.
Joining RD:IR in 2006, I immediately started work on the deregistration of Royal & SunAlliance from the SEC. Since the completion of that project, I have worked on numerous corporate actions and research projects for a wide variety of clients, specialising in the complex area of proxy voting.
