We are currently looking for a Trainee Shareholder Analyst to join our rapidly expanding team. We are looking for someone who is analytical, methodical, with good attention to detail and an interest in investor relations. In preference, applicants should be educated to degree level and/or have experience in capital markets. Office experience is essential and we are looking for someone with a minimum of two years work experience, who has excellent computer skills as well as good communication skills.
The role entails regular shareholder analysis for UK clients using RD:IR’s proprietary software, ir:intouch. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to issue Section 793 notices in accordance with the 2006 Companies Act in liaison with RD:IR’s dedicated Section 793 Administration Team. Full training will be given, and there is a clear progression path. The successful candidate could expect to move into a client facing role over a period of time dependent on personal motivation and commitment to the position.

Richard Davies Investor Relations (RD:IR) is looking for methodical, organised and computer-literate administrators to join its Analytics Support Team. RD:IR analyses the share registers of over 450 listed companies, and the Analytics Support team is dedicated to the research of shareholder information.
An understanding of financial markets, or previous custodian or research experience, would be an advantage. However, full training will be given and the position could lead, over time, to the role of Shareholder Analyst or Analytics Client Manager for the right candidates.
The work includes issuing, receiving, chasing and recording UK and non-UK legal notices requesting information on share holdings.
