RD:IR ran a comprehensive North American investor targeting exercise for DMGT. Using RD:IR’s in-house database of global investors, RD:IR compiled a shortlist of long term North American institutions that managed portfolios with mandates that would permit them to invest in DMGT. Having gained sufficient background knowledge of DMGT’s business, RD:IR approached the specific portfolio managers and buy-side analysts and tracked their level of interest in meeting with management. The result was an extensive list of potential investors in the USA and Canada. We have run three investor roadshows to cities in the US and Canada since the RD:IR targeting exercise and have been pleased with the quality of the meetings, the productive use of management time and the positive response from investors who appreciated the direct approach. We would have no hesitation in recommending RD:IR’s targeting services for reaching new investors.
