We have used RD:IR for a number of years now and in a competitive market, it’s their personal service that makes them stand out for us. We believe they provide high-quality shareholder analysis, digging into details that ultimately provide us with more clarity of our shareholder base. Our record keeping has dramatically improved by using IR:InTouch and the data we can then take from the system has become an essential part of planning and delivering our IR programme. We have also engaged RD:IR for additional services around proxy solicitation and during our Rights Issue, and their input has been excellent.
Very responsive to queries
I worked with RD:IR for a number of years at my previous company and introduced them to Mediclinic when I started in the new role. They carry out a very efficient shareholder ID service for us which is integrated with their CRM. The team is very responsive to queries I send them and help to maintain the online database of investor contacts. For Board meetings they work closely with our brokers to populate an IR Board Pack. When we’ve required additional services around AGM time they have been able to support us at short notice. I continue to be very impressed with the overall service and the quality of their systems and reports.

RD:IR ran a comprehensive North American investor targeting exercise for DMGT. Using RD:IR’s in-house database of global investors, RD:IR compiled a shortlist of long term North American institutions that managed portfolios with mandates that would permit them to invest in DMGT. Having gained sufficient background knowledge of DMGT’s business, RD:IR approached the specific portfolio managers and buy-side analysts and tracked their level of interest in meeting with management. The result was an extensive list of potential investors in the USA and Canada. We have run three investor roadshows to cities in the US and Canada since the RD:IR targeting exercise and have been pleased with the quality of the meetings, the productive use of management time and the positive response from investors who appreciated the direct approach. We would have no hesitation in recommending RD:IR’s targeting services for reaching new investors.
